Meter Box Upgrades

Upgrading an old or non-compliant meter box is a core Level 2 ASP service. Sydney Power Group (SPG) replaces deteriorated, undersized or unsafe meter enclosures across Greater Sydney, bringing your metering position up to current standards.

Because meter box works often require the supply to be de-energised at the network, an Accredited Service Provider is legally required. All upgrades comply with AS/NZS 3000 and the Service & Installation Rules of NSW.

Why Meter Boxes Fail Compliance

Older meter boxes may be cracked, water-affected, asbestos-based, too small for modern metering, or poorly located. These issues can attract a defect notice and prevent metering or supply upgrades from proceeding.
