Builder's Temporary Supply

A builder's temporary supply is the standard connection used during construction — a temporary metering panel and service connection installed before the permanent switchboard is in place. We apply for and install builder's temporary supply connections across Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy zones. The connection is installed with a temporary meter that records consumption so the builder can manage site power costs, and is removed when the permanent connection is ready.

Construction Site Power Connections

Larger construction sites — multi-lot developments, commercial builds, and strata projects — require more than a standard builder's supply. We design and install temporary distribution infrastructure for sites with high power demand, including temporary main switchboards, sub-distribution, and metering arrangements that satisfy Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy requirements and keep your project compliant throughout the build.

Demolition Disconnections

Before a demolition crew can safely start, the property must be formally disconnected from the network at the service level — not just switched off at the main switch. We carry out safe network disconnections for demolitions across Sydney, lodging the formal notification with Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy, removing or capping the service connection, and issuing the disconnection certificate your demolisher and insurer needs.

Temporary Supply Removals

When construction is complete and the permanent connection is ready, the temporary supply needs to be properly removed and the final connection activated. We manage the switchover — coordinating the outage window with the network, removing the temporary metering panel, confirming the permanent connection is live, and lodging the as-built compliance paperwork with the distributor.

Event and Short-Term Supply

Events, markets, and short-term installations sometimes need a network supply connection where a generator isn't suitable. We coordinate temporary network supply connections for events across Sydney — managing the application, installing the temporary infrastructure, and disconnecting it when the event ends.
