The Job the Service Fuse Quietly Does

The service fuse (or service protection device) protects your consumer mains and property from faults on the supply, and on the Endeavour network it is usually sealed as network equipment. You cannot legally replace it yourself, and a regular electrician cannot either — it requires a Level 2 ASP with Endeavour authorisation to break the seal.
