Sydney Power Group (SPG) partners with builders and owner-builders on new single-dwelling homes from the first shovel to handover. As a Level 2 ASP authorised across Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy, we handle every network-side stage — temporary builders supply, the new connection, consumer mains and metering — so your program never stalls waiting on the grid.

Network-side work legally requires a Level 2 ASP, and SPG is across all three NSW networks. We coordinate directly with the distributor on your behalf, keep documentation tidy for handover, and align our attendance with your construction schedule so power is live exactly when your trades need it.

Temporary Supply and New Connection

Every new build starts with power on site. SPG installs your temporary builders supply so concreters, chippies and other trades can work from day one, then arranges the permanent new connection when the home is ready to energise.

As network-side work is restricted to Level 2 ASPs, we own the distributor liaison end to end — application, coordination and connection — so builders aren't left chasing Ausgrid, Endeavour or Essential Energy themselves.

Consumer Mains, Switchboard and Metering

We install consumer mains sized for the completed dwelling, then fit a clean, code-compliant switchboard and smart metering ready for the meter provider. If the home includes solar or an EV charger, we plan the mains and board capacity up front to avoid rework.
