Sydney Power Group (SPG) manages the whole network side for builders and developers as a Level 2 ASP authorised across Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy.

From temporary supply during construction to individual consumer mains and metering for each half, we make sure each dwelling can be connected, metered and sold or leased independently — without holding up your handover.

Two Dwellings, Two Supplies

Most duplexes need distinct supplies so each dwelling is billed separately. SPG installs individual consumer mains and switchboards for each side, then arranges separate smart metering so future owners or tenants each have their own account.

Where the block is fed from the street pit or pole, we coordinate the network connection and any pillar box or power pole work required — all Level 2 ASP scope that SPG is authorised to perform across the three NSW networks.

Getting the Supply Capacity Right

Two dwellings mean roughly double the load, so we assess whether the existing or planned supply is adequate and arrange a supply upgrade or fresh connection where needed. Getting this right early prevents costly reworks late in the build.
