Heavy Loads, Serious Capacity

Industrial sites run motors, compressors, production lines, refrigeration and increasingly fleet EV charging — loads that dwarf a typical commercial premises. We size the network connection to the real demand, almost always three-phase, and make sure the supply arrangement can carry both current operations and planned expansion.

CT Metering & Large Mains

At industrial load levels, direct-connected metering is not enough — Ausgrid requires CT metering, and we install the metering chamber and current transformers to suit. Heavy loads also need substantial consumer mains, so we install or upgrade large cabling — typically as underground mains on industrial sites — rated for the demand.

Coordinating a Major Upgrade

Upgrading an existing factory or warehouse supply is a coordinated exercise — the network, the metering coordinator, your switchboard contractor and site operations all have to align, often with the plant needing to stay running. As your Level 2 ASP we plan the staging, arrange any disconnection and reconnection for cut-over, and keep downtime to a minimum.
