What A Switchboard Upgrade Involves

We start by inspecting your existing board, main switch, consumer mains and meter box to identify defects, undersized cabling and any missing safety devices. From there we install a new enclosure with a correctly rated main switch, individual circuit breakers, safety switches (RCDs) or per-circuit RCBOs, and surge protection where appropriate.

Every circuit is tested, labelled and recorded on a legend so future work is straightforward. Older meter boxes can have asbestos backing boards, so we identify and handle these safely and appropriately rather than disturbing them.
