Why Strata Buildings Go Three-Phase

Three-phase supply delivers more power more efficiently and is often required for lifts, large pumps, air-conditioning plant and shared EV charging. A building running on aged single-phase supply simply cannot support these loads without upgrading.

Moving to three-phase future-proofs the building. It is the enabling step for shared EV charging infrastructure and for spreading load evenly across the scheme so no single phase is overloaded.

A Coordinated Upgrade

A three-phase upgrade touches several parts of the shared infrastructure at once — the consumer mains are usually replaced, the main switchboard reconfigured, and the network connection changed. Each of the network-side steps requires a Level 2 ASP.

Minimising Disruption
