A permanent disconnection (abolishment) removes the electricity supply from a property for good — essential before demolition or when a supply is no longer needed. Situations That Call for Abolishment

Demolishing a house, removing an old outbuilding, or decommissioning a site all require a permanent disconnection so the supply is safely and formally removed. Demolition contractors on the Endeavour network cannot lawfully begin until Endeavour confirms the supply is abolished and the service line removed. Removing the Supply for Good

We lodge the abolishment request with Endeavour Energy, arrange the network disconnection, and remove the service line and metering as required. This makes the site safe for demolition and formally closes the NMI in Endeavour's records so it is no longer billed or energised.
