Work that connects to the Endeavour Energy network must meet Endeavour's standards and be certified — and that is Level 2 ASP work. Sydney Power Group provides electrical compliance, inspection and certification across the Endeavour supply area, making sure your connection is safe, standards-compliant and properly recorded with Endeavour Energy.

What We Check and Certify

We inspect the network-side connection — service line, point of attachment, consumer mains, metering position and service protection — against Endeavour Energy's connection and metering standards. Where it passes, we issue and lodge the compliance certificate against your NMI; where it does not, we identify exactly what needs rectifying before Endeavour will accept it.

When a Certificate Is Required

A compliance certificate is required whenever Level 2 work is carried out on the Endeavour network — new connections, mains upgrades, metering and defect rectification all need one lodged before Endeavour treats the work as complete. As an authorised Level 2 ASP we complete the inspection and lodge the certificate so your work is formally recognised on the network.

Signing Off a Rectified Defect

If you have had a defect notice rectified, the compliance step confirms the work meets standard and formally clears the notice against your connection in Endeavour's records — the disconnection risk only lifts once this is lodged.
