Why a Tree on a Line Is So Dangerous

A branch bridging a live conductor can carry current into the whole tree and the ground beneath it. Wet foliage conducts electricity, and a heavy limb can snap the service line at any moment. Do not prune, pull or climb — treat the tree as live.

This can quickly become a fallen power line or bring down the attachment, so prompt, professional make-safe is essential.
