What AS 2293 requires

AS 2293 sets out that emergency lighting systems be inspected and tested at six-month intervals, with a full-duration discharge test to confirm each luminaire operates for its rated time, typically 90 minutes. Fittings that fail to reach duration have batteries or lamps at the end of their life.
