House Supply and Common Metering

Apartment blocks depend on a robust house supply for lifts, common lighting, ventilation, pumps and fire services. SPG designs and installs this common-area supply and its smart metering, separate from the individual unit metering.

The incoming supply and metering room are Level 2 ASP scope — SPG coordinates the network connection and high-capacity consumer mains with the distributor across all three NSW networks.

Embedded Networks and Bulk Supply

Many apartment developments run an embedded network with a single bulk supply and internal sub-metering. SPG provisions the incoming supply, main switchboard and metering arrangements to suit either individually metered or embedded-network models, so the building operator's chosen billing structure is supported from day one.
