New Builds & Subdivisions

A new dwelling or a subdivided block needs a fresh connection to the Ausgrid network. We lodge the connection application, install the overhead or underground service mains, fit the metering, and arrange energisation. See our network connection service.

One Point of Contact

New connections involve the network, the metering coordinator and your builder. As your Level 2 ASP we manage all of it, so you are not caught between parties. This keeps energisation on schedule — critical when a build is waiting on power to progress.

Temporary Power First

Many builds need temporary builders supply before the permanent connection. We can install a site pole for construction power and then complete the permanent connection when the property is ready — a seamless sequence on the Ausgrid network.
